About

As far back as I can remember, few things have captured my attention and passion more than the feeling of a hammer in my hand and a vision forming in my mind. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of creating something meaningful of taking raw materials and shaping them into something with purpose, form, and function. That drive to create has never left me. Whether sparked by imagination or a moment of inspiration, the ability to transform a concept into a tangible reality has always felt like a calling.

Throughout my life, I’ve pursued many different forms of art and craftsmanship. Each held a certain appeal and taught me something valuable about form, technique, and the creative process. But none have resonated with me as deeply as the craft of holster making. While it is, in many ways, a traditional leatherworking discipline, holster making stands apart because it is rooted not only in craftsmanship but in responsibility. Each holster I create must serve a crucial purpose: to safely, securely, and accessibly hold a firearm something that may one day be called upon to defend a life.

This knowledge is at the core of every Cerrito Leather product, The design, the stitching, the retention, the comfort, all of it must meet a higher standard. A holster is not merely an accessory; it is a life-saving tool. The art lies in the balance between durability, function, and aesthetics. It must perform without fail, while also reflecting the care and precision that went into its making.

“Cerrito Leather isn’t just about selling a product, it’s about creating something lasting, something worthy of being passed down through generations. It’s a legacy we’re proud to put our name behind."

Sincerely,

Vincent Cerrito
