Description
The GB1 Gun Belt is crafted from two 7.5 oz. layers of the finest USA vegetable tanned leather. Selected leather is cut from the back section of the cow's hide referred to as the “bend cut”. This prized section of the hide yields the most strongest and durable leather.
The two layers are then laminated together and then edge stitched using heavy duty nylon thread resulting in a belt strap that is far superior in strength in comparison to a single layer belt.
Finally, the edges are hand burnished to perfection using an ages old technique which consists of applying a combination of hard wax and friction onto the leather which seals the edge making it both weather resistant and aesthetically pleasing.
